Through our 2016 Annual Conference, NCBL seeks to coalesce with legal and political activists in the Midwestern United States around the pressing issues of human rights movement building, mass incarceration and reintegration which connects to law enforcement accountability, the continuing attack on education, cultural genocide, and the overarching movement for Black liberation. We bring together a number of distinguished and accomplished lawyers, scholars, and activists to discuss these and other important issues, and to develop strategies for resolving them for the betterment of our people. Join us in Chicago October 6th-9th for serious discussion and action planning.
